COY20 gathered thousands of young leaders from across the globe to shape international negotiations before COP30. As the official youth event of YOUNGO, it served as the critical platform for developing the Global Youth Statement, ensuring that the voices of those most affected by climate change are heard by world leaders.
For the first time in history, COY20 launched a dedicated program for children, promoting inclusion from early childhood. Over 100 participants under 12 engaged in workshops, art, and climate education, proving that no one is too young to care for our planet.
